Hi Fred and Lorrine--
I hope you  had a restful time in Padua not to mention the rest of your summer! I just wanted to again thank you both for your fine leadership of our pilgrimage this past June! Nancy and I continue to rave to people about your leadership skills, your warm hospitality and your commitment to the spiritual vitality of doing Catholic piglrimages with others. We continue to be blessed by (and challenged to live out) the graces we received from our time with you, Isom, Fr.Angelo and the other pilgrims.
Gabriel's  stirring final words of challenge for us to be like the Magi as we return to our homes still ring in our ears. Just today I returned to Fred's space after my friend Jim Fish told me you had posted pictures from our trip. Fred and Lorinne, you have some beautiful pictures here!! And, what makes them even more precious to us is that we had inadvertently deleted some our shots from the Mt.Carmel-Nazareth-Cana-Zippori part of the trip(not to mention a few other shots of ours that didn't take that we were sorry to have lost.) Seeing these places again via your slideshow brought wide smiles to our faces(like the shot of Nancy and I in front of the Visitation church sign: our home parish in Tacoma!) Thanks be to St.Anthony for finding our 'lost pictures' through your postings!(Can we download some of these?) And thanks to you both for your faithful ministry to pilgrims. May God continue to do awesome work through you for the Body of Christ, both here in the US as well as around the world. I know our paths will cross again, either in this world or the next. Blessings on you and your family now and always!
